Honoring Healthy Habits Challenge

They say it takes twenty-one days to make or break a habit.  Join us as we kick off the 2024 mid-year wellness challenge to help you build some good (and healthy) habits!
For the upcoming months of February, March, and April, the Wellness Committee once again announces our “Honoring Healthy Habits” challenge.  Each month will have a specific focus, with the goal of building healthy habits in a variety of areas (click on each month to obtain the calendar):

April:       Team Step/Activity Competition:  Physical Health

  • A “Healthy Habits” calendar will be sent to you at the start of each month (February and March).  Here you can track your progress on accomplishing daily items.   You do not need to complete the challenge in order, just mark off all the days by month's end.  BONUS - You are allotted five “FREE” days per month, giving you some wiggle room!   If you complete your calendar (as you confirm through a survey), you will be entered into a drawing for one of four prize baskets being given away each month (baskets valued at roughly $50.00 each).
  • In April, there will be a “Healthy Habits” team STEP/ACTIVITY Competition!  More information will be coming about teams and how to track STEPS and Activities.  The top two teams across the ESC will win prize baskets for each team member.
  • I encourage each of you to join in and encourage your ESC co-workers to participate in this challenge!  You'll have fun and have chances to win some great prizes for your efforts!
TIPS:
  • Watch for emails to come from Linda Schlosser with monthly calendars and survey links to report your progress - super easy to do!
  • Watch for the February Calendar coming out later this week with further instructions!
  • Print out the calendars monthly and put in a prominent spot (Fridge, work satchel, countertop, etc.) as a visual reminder of the challenge and to easily track your efforts.
  • Watch for a survey to come out later this spring to help us form TEAMS for our April STEP/ACTIVITY Competition!

We encourage all NwOESC staff to participate in this fun challenge and competition to honor, build, and maintain “Healthy Habits”.
Thanks and wishing you the BEST of HEALTH!
