November Shout Outs

Sarah Chafins would like to give a shout out to...
Jenna Wessell for her ability to manage technology at a much higher level than I can. Jenna jumped right in and took care of a requisition for me. Jenna, I'm extremely thankful and grateful for you!!

Kerri Weir would like to give a shout out to...
Laura Kamp and Julie Weber for the wonderful job they have done of growing the social emotional supports and services to our area districts and the ESC!  Their monthly newsletter is excellent and highlights some of the great work happening across the area. It also implements a streamlined process to request services:)

Kerri Weir would like to give a shout out to...
Dorothy Lambert for her work to support the new dyslexia requirements. It has been phenomenal!  She has tackled this ODE initiative head on and devised multiple plans to support districts and ESC staff, ensuring the work will be done with fidelity. This will truly make a difference for students as they become fluent readers!  Thank you, Dorothy!

Nicole Scribner would like to give a shout out to...
Sara Weirich for going above and beyond for the kiddos in our class. She is a great mentor for me to bounce ideas off of and openly helps with suggestions. Sara is kind, caring, hard-working, and someone I'd love to work with every year. With her in the room it is fun, educational, and just runs smoothly. She is a hidden gem for sure. Thank you Sara for all you have taught me.

Mikala Carpenter would like to give a shout out to...
Ericka Prigge, Kendall Shively, and the rest of the business office for doing an excellent job covering my duties while I was off on maternity leave. It is a blessing to have great co-workers to make returning to work a bit easier!

Sherryann Franks would like to give a shout out to...
Melissa Bidlack, Madison Gentit, and Bailey Diemer, my IEC bus aides for November. You all did an amazing job working as a team.

Homer Hendricks would like to give a shout out to...
Kathy Soards for being a great member of our business office staff over the last two years.  Her personality and experience along with her great work ethic are greatly appreciated.  Kathy is always willing to go above and beyond when working with staff across the ESC and within the business office.  We will miss her presence in the office, but wish her the best in her retirement.  THANK YOU KATHY!

Scott Nixon would like to give a shout out to...
Amanda Ream for her seemingly endless positive and festive demeanor! She always helps everyone by jumping in to get tasks accomplished and also helping all of our high school classrooms! You Rock!

Jana Lentz would like to give a shout out to...
Tiffany Proper and Abigail Hiler, my classroom paras, for all the extra hard work they did with the students in my class when I was out on sick leave. They kept me informed about how the students were doing and what activities were happening in the classroom. They are awesome and made my return to school much easier. Thanks again.

Andrew Hunter would like to give a shout out to...
Dorothy Lambert for doing such an awesome job helping everyone with dyslexia updates and training, and for organizing a great vendor fair!

Andrew Hunter would like to give a shout out to...
Sally Kovar for running and operating quiz bowls for all of the counties. Your organization and hard work for events like these does not go unnoticed! Thanks!
Northwest Ohio ESC staff make a positive impact in so many ways across our service area!
We now have an easier way for staff to send “Shout Outs” about the great things happening in our classrooms, programs, offices and districts. Use the link below to share a submission, with the option of attaching a photo as well.
